After leaving a convenience store years ago, I was surprised that my 1991 Trooper was not where I left it. I looked all around and still didn’t see it until I caught a glimpse of it slowly rolling down the parking lot toward a creek. I hurried toward it and about that time it came to a stop just feet before it would have started a downward descent. I had left it in drive with the brake off. I mentioned the incident to someone nearby and he said that he saw my vehicle heading down the parking lot apparently without a driver. I guess it would be rather awkward to jump in someone’s runway car to make a heroic rescue.

As I entered the mobile home the second time after getting a voicing tool from my car, I forgot about the inside step. I had told myself to be aware of that step as I left to get the tool. Anyway I soon found myself stretched across the floor with the voicing tool and its exposed needles still in my hand. I managed to fall without sticking the needles in my head or face and the voicing tool and needles were still good to go. However, I ended up seeing the chiro the next day. My customer didn’t seem surprised. He mentioned one visitor had tripped and crashed into a couch and then over and onto the floor. There was no mention of damage to the furniture or his (former??) friend.
